Past and Future

|

Tonight was my friend Kristin's wedding. It was a gorgeous affair, the only downside being that the only person I knew there was the bride. As you can imagine, she was a bit too busy to entertain me the whole evening.

And to be honest, weddings aren't really something I enjoy ever since my own. The exception being my friends Erik and Patti's wedding -- I had a blast at it. But in general, weddings just remind me of a large part of my life that turned out being very painful. There's a small part of me that wants to tell people getting married that they're making a mistake. But, let's face it, it works out for some (most?) people, and Kristin and John make me think it will work out for them too.
